It therefore needs to be submitted together with the other documents for admission. In exceptional cases the language certificate can be handed in after the deadline. Students who have not yet achieved level B2 by the time of their application, are strongly advised to continue further language studies so that they can reach the required level by the time of their arrival in Regensburg

Oceny: incoming-visa&residence permit	Oceny: A note on visa requirements: Non-EU students who need to apply for a visa should be aware that it often takes very long to receive an appointment at the embassy for their visa application. They should therefore apply for an appointment as soon as they have received the electronic version of their admission letter. Usually they will need to open a blocked account as a proof of finance for their visa. We recommend to open such an account with either ExPatrio (https://www.expatrio.com/) or Fintiba (https://www.fintiba.com/). In most cases the German embassies accept no other financial statements than blocked accounts.
